Your first Cleaner session: review, choose, then clean

A practical first run with One Cleaner: inspect the scan, keep what matters and review what was actually removed.

A cleaner PC starts with a clear decision about what to remove. If you are opening Nitrafe One Cleaner for the first time, use your first session to understand the results before choosing a cleanup.

Start with Analyze. Cleaner checks the locations covered by your selected categories and shows the files it can identify. The time needed depends on the number of files, your storage and the categories selected. A fast scan can be normal; the useful part is the result you can inspect.

Review the categories and file preview. Temporary files and application caches can have different purposes. Leave out anything you do not recognize or want to keep, and close applications before clearing their temporary data. Files that are in use may be skipped. Your scan does not remove files by itself.

Set exclusions for files and folders you regularly want to preserve. Keep a separate backup of important work: a cleanup exclusion is a preference, not a backup. If you save a cleanup profile, review its choices again when your workflow changes.

When you are comfortable with the selection, confirm the cleanup. Afterwards, check the report rather than assuming every item in the original estimate was removed. A file may have changed, disappeared or been locked between the scan and the cleanup. The reported result should reflect what the app actually managed to remove.

Cleaner 1.0.22 keeps these controls in the Signature workspace, with Light, Dark and System appearance choices. The scan animation shows activity while a category is being checked; the app does not add a delay just to make a quick scan look longer.

Begin with Cleaner Free from the Downloads page. You can review the workflow before deciding whether the separate Cleaner Pro features fit your needs. Current plans and introductory Black Friday terms are on the Cleaner product page.
